The AMERICAN HEADACHE INSTITUTE was founded by Angelo DiMaggio, PT, Dip. MDT, Spine Therapist.  In clinical practice for over 40 years, Mr. DiMaggio has devoted the past 35 years exclusively to the treatment of spinal pain and is currently president of the American Back Pain Center.

As a nationally renown lecturer, he presents a new system of spine care with a series of six spine seminars he has developed.  At the Invitation of major medical centers and universities, he has conducted over 500 seminars and instructed more than 10,000 medical practitioners and physicians.  Seeking to address the needs of patients suffering from headaches, migraines, TMJ, neck, and oral-facial pain, Mr. DiMaggio has devoted 4 of his 6 seminars to deal exclusively with the treatment of these conditions.

Angelo has been treating migraine and headache patients exclusively since opening The AMERICAN HEADACHE INSTITUTE in 2011.

Scott Forfinski, MPT, Spine Therapist, Clinical Director

Scott has been in the field of physical therapy for over 25 years.  He attained his Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Findlay, in 2003 and has been practicing in outpatient orthopedic PT ever since.  Over the course of his career Scott has accumulated over 300 hours of professional continuing education coursework.  The emphasis of this coursework has been focused on the lumbar and cervical spine, vestibular treatment, and migraine and headache management.  This interest has led him to partner with Angelo DiMaggio at The AMERICAN HEADACHE INSTITUTE.

Scott has been the Clinical Director at The AMERICAN HEADACHE INSTITUTE since it opened in 2011.  Working at AHI has enabled Scott to focus his skills on the challenging cases that he sees at the Institute.  He enjoys the satisfaction of helping this group of patients that have often found little success with traditional headache care.
